Having forced a retreat on Israel and the United States in Lebanon, Iran now moves to manage two battles that Washington itself initiated:

1. The Blockade: Any violation of Iranian ships will be met with an equal or harsher response. The goal is to prevent the imposition of a fait accompli.

2. Hormuz: Iran is responsible for security in the Strait. Any targeting of its administrative structures there or any attempt to destabilize it will be met with a swift and costly response. The goal is to consolidate the outcomes and gains of the war.

In the same context, Iran is shifting from a policy of tit-for-tat retaliation to a new phase defined by a stronger, broader response aimed at achieving deterrence.

Tehran provides Washington with two options only: either accept the outcomes of military failure peacefully, or move towards a new war. There won’t be a third option in between.

Trump was warned by US intelligence that attacking Iran would lead to attacks on US bases, regional attacks, and the closing of the Strait. It is all in the 2025 intelligence threat assessment.

Intelligence also repeated year after year that Iran wasn't working on a nuclear weapon. And the administration admitted there was no imminent threat.

How have Israel’s actions in Iran, Gaza, or Lebanon, to name a few, made America safer & more prosperous?

The arms sales argument is flawed logic. We give Israel money so they can buy American weapons—why not just spend our money on weapons for our own inventories?

The intelligence we get from the Israelis can be useful, but our increasing over-reliance on it has caused our own capabilities to atrophy. We are a sovereign nation. We cannot outsource components of our national security to nations that do not share our interests— of course they will put their own interests first. No other nation prioritizes the needs of a different country before its own, because that would be foolish.

Israel can still be a decent partner, so long as we are clear-eyed about the differences between our two countries, and act accordingly. We have to put America’s needs first.

Dubowitz isn’t just any neocon pundit, he is the CEO of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD). FDD is very pro Israel & is closely advising the admin on Iran policy.

When Dubowitz says “for the next two & a half years” he is basically admitting that the initial goal of the pro Israel lobby was to get us into this war knowing that once we were in, it would be very difficult for us to get out.

The Pentagon just lent $620,000,000 to a tiny North Carolina startup called Vulcan Elements. The company is two years old.

It had fewer than 50 employees.

And three months before the deal was announced, Donald Trump Jr.’s venture firm quietly took a stake in it.

Here is the part the administration tried to bury.

Of the dozens of companies the Pentagon was weighing, Vulcan was the only deal initiated by a top White House aide. That aide was Peter Navarro, a close friend of Trump Jr. The order came down to move fast.

One official put it plainly: The call came from the White House. We have to get this done.

Staff worked late nights to push it through in weeks. Deals like this normally take many months of vetting. And when it closed, Vulcan’s valuation jumped from about 200 million dollars to roughly 2 billion.

A windfall for the investors, including the president’s son.

This is public money. Your money.

Routed through the Pentagon to enrich the president’s family and their friends. The Bush administration’s own chief ethics lawyer called it corruption we pay for.

And there is more coming.

A drone parts company Trump Jr. holds a stake in is also under Pentagon review.

This is not a one-off. It is a pattern. The president’s family is treating the federal Treasury like a private bank, and the bill lands on every taxpayer.
