@jefecrandall@ChicagoFire Jeff for the suburbs guys here can you define what near public transit means? Seeing roughly 35 minute walk from ogilvie. Something from the El to get us down there? Fine walk during the day but not something I imagine families wanting to do with their kids after a 730 kickoff
@johnkchicago@ChicagoFire Yep 100%. Not trekking to the city to watch bad football over and over again. Now we put together some results and it at least justifies the costs and time to get down there.
We’ll see what the future holds for us but I’m not holding my breath
@johnkchicago@ChicagoFire I think there’s a lot of reasoning for different locations. For me as a suburbs guy with a 7 year old.. with what felt like 80% home matches a 730 kickoff it’s basically blocked me out from going to games with him. Fond memories of 02 ish season at north central in naperville.
@JPorvaznik@ChicagoFire Optimistically it can’t get much worse though right since there’s no relegation? Now that I don’t have the initial shock.. all I can say is I hope I’m wrong and that he makes me look like a fool. But I still just can’t get the justification that this is the guy to hand the keys to
@oluckydayo @ChicagoFire Maybe I’m wrong and hopefully I am. Won’t act like I’m the expert over your club for the 4-5 years he was there but glad you have fond memories. Will bookmark and chat in 2 years!
There’s nothing else to say that hasn’t already been said. An absolute travesty. But if it wasn’t for Arsenal, I wouldn’t have met lifelong friends @MikeHerzFC@SouthMetroAFC@SebbyV21@JC_AFC@RealMatt19 & many others & for that I choose to be grateful, despite today’s feelings
