The strangest pages in the Bible almost never get preached.
The Watchers. The Nephilim. The giants Joshua drove out of Canaan. The “sons of God” standing before God in Job. The prophecy of Enoch, quoted word for word in Jude.
I write about the parts of Scripture that were quietly left out, and why they matter for the age we’re entering.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but no, birth control is not a sin. The error that religion makes is that it makes MORAL issues out of WISDOM issues. God clearly outlined a few red line MORAL issues in the NT, but the rest are WISDOM issues (the NT was never meant to be a Law 2.0). Moral issues pertaining to sin and are not debatable. WISDOM issues are not sin, are debatable, and may or may not be wise depending on person, circumstance, situation, etc...
Birth control is a wisdom issue, and thus using it / not using it will be a different decision for everyone, and THAT'S OK.
How to find God's path for your life:
1. Fear the Lord (Psalm 25:12)
2. Trust the Lord (Proverbs 3:5-6)
3. Seek the Lord (Deuteronomy 4:29)
4. Delight in the Lord (Psalm 37:4)
5. Rest in the Lord (Psalm 37:7)
6. Wait on the Lord (Psalm 27:14)
7. Obey the Lord (Jeremiah 38:20)
I am really sorry to hear that, being ostracized and rejected is really awful. I suspect that rejection is the worst form of emotional anguish there is, seeing as Jesus experienced the "full cup" on the cross, and the pinnacle (or depth) of that experience was being rejected of God. Being rejected by people you love(d) is very difficult to deal with.
Jesus said His coming would be like the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37).
So it is worth knowing what the days of Noah actually looked like.
Genesis 6. Read the whole chapter, including verse 4.
In John 10:10, the thief comes "to steal, and to kill, and to destroy."
The Greek word for "kill" there is thuo. Paul used the same word in 1 Corinthians 5:7: "Christ our passover is sacrificed for us."
The thief kills the sheep as a sacrifice. The Shepherd became one.
@DrAlanKurschner Well, to be fair, the heavens and earth are destroyed after the 1,000 years (Rev. 20:11) and then re-created...so delineating the 1,000 year time period seems acceptable to me. But if course, Jesus reigns forever regardless.
