.Stepping on the other side of 🏈 to Coach girls middle/HS girls flag with 703 United Youth Sports. Our season began yesterday with rain, wind and chilly temps! Not to mention my girls were NERVOUS! Despite only two practices before the season, some girls who’d never caught a football or run a route and a very tough opponent who gave us a battle to the end..we came away with the WIN!!
Shout out our MVP-🥇🥇🥇Makayla Simpson who also plays tackle. She secured both TD’s and an extra point!! #BALLERALERT!!

Special thanks to Deano Ladson for the post game interview 🎤🎤🎤. Felt odd to be on the other side of the mic, but great at the same time to speak on the victory . Looking forward to continuing the season and developing the girls!! 🏈🏈🏈

I have done SURGICAL ICE removal 🪏⚒️ all week around Woodbridge, Stafford area and beyond. MANY of these neighborhoods are UNSAFE for children to walk to school and/ or buses to navigate. There are ZERO sidewalks available in many areas, therefore kids will be walking in the streets. I understand the meals issues, however I’d rather hear kids had to eat oodles of noodles and cereal all day rather than a kid was hit by a car. There’s also a call for more snow…set the pattern for the week and allow parents to adjust schedules and sitters now!

It’s a bad call! We’re also the only one opening at all in the region?? Just crazy! I guess being from Chicago makes Ms. LaTanya a hard nose! BUT…this isn’t regular snow…it’s dangerous ice! I can imagine kids walking and falling, hopefully no one breaks a bone! Additionally the teachers and staff!! SMH!! Everyone should collectively keep their kids at HOME!!
