@FORTRESSMAXXING she could’ve defended and vouched for iranian women by writing a real book and showing that iranian women are capable of producing revolutionary work
but she drew comics instead
@TulikaBose_ this is like the worst take on aesthetics btw. the point of creating art is to really get inside the public’s head and figure out what they’d respond too. artists who make crazy obscure and inaccessible art are famously terrible.
@TulikaBose_ yes iranian opposition “artists” are so great that they cant even produce a single real book for their cause. surely we should believe their comic books.
@raweezzyy i’d say that about 70% want autocracy/meritocracy and 30% want democracy. both sides are represented in iran’s government. the “fundamentalists” represent autocratic rule, and the “reformists” want more democracy. the anti gov sentiments are just classic islamophobia nothing more
@AladdinRain@sabizak i read it as a kid too and liked it but i now realize what utter horseshit it is. be well and keep dying on this hill. i have no connection to iran’s government, but i can tell you with certainty the islamic republic of iran is overjoyed with its subhuman opposition.
@EthanLevins2 maybe it was too early a decision but we all knew all of this was going to happen eventually anyways. dont fall into the trap of “if xyz had restrained themselves then so would israel” because it cant be further from the truth. in a way sinwar did a good thing by accelarating it.
