Social media is a net negative for society, but as long as I’m an elected official then I intend to keep at least a public-facing X account.
Society has gotten measurably ruder since the introduction of social media so going forward I’m going to do my best to stay respectful.

@djquinlan DJ, when you call people bumbling idiots it sure isn’t respectful. Also you still haven’t answered many of my questions.
You seem to think we don’t know how to write bills yet you don’t know how to read them. I suggest that if you think you can do better then run for our seats.
Rodney, don’t play into the Democrat narrative. The language is in no way ambiguous. Anyone saying otherwise is either very poorly understanding the language of the bill or is directly lying.
Warren Petersen allowed HCR2040 to go to the ballot with ambiguous language that could gut police officers and firefighters’ ability to negotiate for better pay, equipment, and working conditions.
An Attorney General needs to be able to analyze legal language, identify unintended consequences, and ensure laws do what they are intended to do.
Public safety is now inadvertently at risk because of his legal incompetence.
Arizona deserves an Attorney General with legal experience that extends beyond an internship in law school. The AG’s office is not a place for on-the-job-training.

@djquinlan I asked you previously to detail the exact language of the bill that you think affects other unions & I offered to have a dialogue with you. If you are only interested in spitting hateful & inaccurate rhetoric then there is no point in me engaging with you.
@djquinlan No it is not corrupt to give the voters the chance to vote on a single type of union. Now my questions. You say it affects all unions & just teachers, which is it? You think I control the DOW flu shot requirement? Why do you feel the need to call us idiots, is that constructive?
@dpottzzz It does not do that, it only applies to school district employees and their unions. Thus only to teachers unions. Any other reading of it is wrong.

@djquinlan DJ, you should take the time to read this legal opinion. It is exactly how the bill was written, what it means & how it is to be interpreted.
@djquinlan DJ, are you not willing to admit that you were wrong when you said it was secret & last minute? Also this bill in no way targets workers. Why do you think it’s appropriate for unions to be able to use public monies & spaces for their activities?
@djquinlan DJ let’s start with what I actually said. They are either misunderstanding or lying. I don’t believe Joe Clure is lying I believe he’s misunderstanding. Next, it was not secret or last minute. HCR2040 has been a union measure since it was amended back in Feb. How is that corrupt?

📢 Please help us get HB 2133, the PROTECT Act, signed into law!

Dear Governor Hobbs,
As a concerned citizen, I strongly urge you to sign HB 2133, the Protect Act. This common-sense bill requires commercial websites publishing sexual material to verify explicit informed consent and confirm every depicted person was at least 18 before content is published.
HB 2133:
• Helps prevent CSAM and child exploitation through age verification.
• Strengthens protections against revenge porn and NCII through explicit consent verification.
• Protects adult content creators by preventing stolen content from being uploaded without permission, protecting their identity, ownership, and income.
• Holds commercial platforms accountable when they fail to verify age and consent.
The Free Speech Coalition has taken a neutral position on the bill, and the sponsor collaborated with companies like Meta to balance strong protections with free speech.
As a champion of women’s rights and child welfare, I respectfully ask you to sign HB 2133.
Thank you for your leadership.
Sincerely,
