In a historic feat for Indian Fencing, two Indian Navy sailors have become the first-ever Indian women Épée fencers to reach the Main Draw at the Senior World Fencing Championship 2026 in Hong Kong, China. Indian contingent Tanishka Khatri and Prachi Lohan defeated Chinese top seed Yang Jingwen in the last elimination round.

Both Khatri and Lohan will return to the strip on Saturday, to compete in the Main table of 64 matches, fighting for a spot in the Table of 32.

After the Pharmacy recruitment scam in AAP-ruled Punjab, fresh allegations of recruitment irregularities have now rocked Congress-ruled Karnataka.

Candidates have alleged large-scale malpractice in the recruitment of 400 Veterinary Officers by the KPSC, demanded cancellation of the entire process, and even claimed that posts were allegedly being sold for as much as ₹80 lakh through middlemen.

So, a simple question:

What has Arvind Kejriwal done about the Pharmacy recruitment scam in Punjab? And what does Rahul Gandhi have to say about the serious allegations surrounding the KPSC recruitment process in Karnataka?

Their outrage seems highly selective. When recruitment scams surface in states governed by the I.N.D.I alliance, there is only silence. Students and aspirants deserve accountability everywhere, not political convenience.

Long back, I had given the idea that if the center, be it INC or BJP, wanted the whole nation to be united under one language of Hindi, all they needed to do was call it Urdu and push it. Nobody will oppose and the south would voluntarily start using it.

These days, in some countries, the DS has perfected the art of using their judiciary's comments, observations, verdicts or rulings to blow up protests into riots for regime change by poisoning people's minds using it.

They also program the public in some democracies against their judiciary using social media psyops. This is a force multiplier - to first make the public hate their own judiciary and then use anything they rule, or even say, to agitate the public.

A law minister of any free democracy should remind their hon. judiciary to be mindful about this and not give a chance that can be misused by the DS. We saw in Bangladesh, Manipur, and Nepal how they used just a ruling to create a riot or do regime change.
