I look at how Chelsea fans praise Pedro with 20 goals. They even say that if you’re not Mbappé or Kane, you’re not better than him. These are fans whose team finished 10th, yet they still appreciate their striker.

Manchester United fans still tell you Benjamin Šeško, with 11 goals, is the best. They back their player and believe he can become even better.

Liverpool finished 5th, and their record signing Isak had fewer than five goals. Yet their fans still defend him and share his Newcastle highlights all over the timeline.

Then I look at Arsenal. We had a striker score 21 goals in his first season and helped us win the league after 22 years, yet some fans still call him underwhelming and not good enough.

What baffles me is that they prefer the striker who scored just seven goals and missed most of the season. For me, we need to appreciate what we have instead of constantly looking elsewhere.
