@ManUnitedMedia Look how he was concerned about his team conceding a goal. He wasn't set but had to ran shirtless to help his team. Man Utd recently have fans who make excuses for overpaid players walking unconcerned on the pitch 🤣
“Pep/City has a low net spend” — exposed for the billionth time
🔺City Football Group (CFG) sign Savinho through Troyes. He ends up on loan at Girona and does fantastic taking them to the CL. CFG then moves him to City for a shambolic €25m.
City strong arms the Premier League into accepting that Savinho’s market value was €25m. The PL accepted that Troyes (that owned him) couldn’t have received a penny more for Savinho if they had sold him to the highest bidder — despite Savinho being one of La Liga’s top performers and being what 20 y/o. Savinho more or less flops at City, like most their signings, played what 800 minutes last season in the PL.
City then sells him for €80m to Tottenham.
Last season, City sold academy products who barely had been close to the 1st team for €89m. Or close to the 1st team — most of them had barely been close to Manchester. Did Maxime Perrone ever live in Manchester? Did Yan Couto ever live in Manchester? Did they ever visit Manchester? They reduced City’s “net spend” with €33m.
🔺This illustrates the issue with Man City. They are the best run football club in the world in many way, at least in my opinion. But they are obsessed with — cheating — and can’t help themselves.
They don’t need to cheat to be successful, but they always do it to an absolute obscene extent. They could have put a £45m price tag on Savinho. It is a paper transaction. I hold an iPhone in my right hand right now. This transfer is like if I had sold my iPhone to my left hand. An intra group transaction.
And the establishment in England, the court system, the fancy journalists, have just given up. City have turned them into that Reek character in GoT, Theron Greyjoy.
“Pep is the greatest manager ever” according to Theron Grey… sorry Jamie Carragher. Lol Pep just got 78 pts despite spending £500m in transfer fees and absurd wages. The season before that he got 71 pts.
@LOTL2021@charlavic1@Humbhle_ak The people of that particular place. Cleanliness relates to culture. Some cultures value neatness. Some cultures are dirty
@Slickyjayy That would be the nail in the coffin for English coaches. They've been historically very poor at management because of sentiments. If Carrick follows that path, it seals the deal
@ThelastBob_@QueenMancunian Your second paragraph "where were you when Maguire, Fred and the likes were disrespected and trolled on here" was already addressed in the tweet. You are criticized because you aren't doing enough, the best reply is on the pitch like Maguire did, not on media & nasty attitudes
@IconicBon@BDraugur@ManUnitedGem@jiggyknowsball These player fanboys are teenagers at best. They even have fanbase for Dalot and other mediocre players at the club. They never witnessed Man Utd's glory days or saw true quality players wear the badge. You can't blame them
