While working on a large animated project for next year I look back at my first project I took on. ACE was such a challenge from start to finish that led to some unfortunate situations, I always questioned if it was ever worth doing.
I realize if I hadn’t have done ACE I would not be in the position I am now with what I am currently working on and it makes me incredibly grateful. My advice for anyone doing or wanting to do something large or a dream you have always wanted to do.
Do it even if it’s terrifying. It’ll be worth it one way or another.
@burn_the_bill@zakfilm It’s a bunch of hate posts to illicit views and comments. Anyone in this industry knows it’s not how it works and never has worked like that.
This is hollywood though. Movies are made that make hundreds of millions for the studio and whatever was negotiated previously with lead actors directors ect. Grips, DP, Assistants ect are paid what they are paid as a day rate or SAG rates ect for their roles. Just because a movie blows up has never ever meant all of a sudden the whole production will get a bonus.
Iv been in the industry for over 14 years. This imo knowing how little the majority of the internet understands how these things work, was shitty to do on her part knowing they would get flak for her not getting a “bonus” on the success.
