I office next door to a video studio. Over the past few years one of the slowest parts of my listing process was waiting on video and pictures. Around 6 months ago I picked up a drone and when I do my initial walkthrough of the property I just go ahead and knockout video and pictures as well. This has also allowed me to have a better understanding of roof and hvac condition up front. This helps me set better expectations with both my clients and prospective buyers. It has also sped up my marketing materials by 2-3 and increased quality of content + access to b roll. Once I get back to the office I just hand off my data to the video team and they work their magic.
I built Knowzio a 18 months ago to do this. It’s not something with enough user volume . You’re describing a service that requires a substantial annual fee to show profit. Otherwise the 1 hr of work that anyone with experience invests in pulling the actual data straight from the source … is a better investment than a company trying to make it available cross the country
We used to turn the lights on at our baseball field and play until mom finished setting up her classroom for the fall. Took her all summer long especially when she changed rooms. I remember some nights just laying out on the field staring up into the sky . Gene our deputy would drive by and flip his lights on when it got to late and when we told him we were waiting on mom he would cruise up to the school and tell her it was time to shut down. Those were the days stripmallguy
The greatest phenomenon of being a dog owner with kids is how they can play in a yard that hasn’t been scooped in a week and never step in it. Not because they’re watching for it—they just don’t. But the MOMENT I scoop the yard, someone immediately finds the one pile I missed.
