Sad to say I won't be at @DjangoConEurope this year π It's 2 months away and the FOMO is already setting in.
On the plus side, after much stress, I'll hopefully have recently completed on a house by then! π₯³
And I'm already working on some @djangocon ideas...
The latest version of @WagtailCMS ships with `django-tasks` installed! π₯³ The first step in major adoption!

Go forth, and find all my bugs!
First day back at work, and I was met with:
- 1013 unread emails
- 81 Slack notifications across 2 organisations
- 631 system updates
Happy 2025 to me!
For possibly the last time this year, there's a new django-tasks release. Just a few bugfixes to end the year nicely.
Go give it a try: https://t.co/qGWPqesHk8
I voted β in the @djangoproject Steering Council elections!
The candidates this year are incredibly strong. Quite a few common themes in people's statements though. This is going to be an interesting few years for Django...

@shaggyfrog Tracking it wasn't too difficult - the project I'm working is exactly those cases. The hard bit was trying to distill it down to a minimal reproduction.
It's been that kind of a week...
Spending hours fighting with unit tests, only to reproduce it as an incredibly niche bug in Django π
