Immigration Attorney | Conservative Leader | Advocate for Constitutional Freedoms and Limited Government | 2026 CT GOP Secretary of the State candidate
Team Lumaj stopped by the San Gennaro Festival in Danbury on Friday night after leaving a bit early on Thursday due to the heavy rain. Always great to be in the city of Danbury!
Team Lumaj traveled to Winchester on Sunday for a well attended Meet the Candidates event. Republicans across CT are more united than we have been in years and focused on bringing much needed change this November.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Somers last night for their Meet the Candidates event. It was great to be with our statewide @CTGOP candidates again!
Nancy Wyman has passed on after a career than included two decades serving as CT Comptroller and Lt. Governor. We should honor her commitment to serving her fellow citizens and express our condolences to her family and many friends in public life.

Team Lumaj spent a hot Sunday afternoon marching with the entire statewide @CTGOP ticket in the Moosup VJ Day parade followed by a packed Meet the Candidates gathering at the beautiful home of State Representative Anne Dauphinais and her husband Duffy. Proud to be part of this ticket!
“Now Enfield taxpayers are stuck with the bill for reprinting her blundered ballots. State Representative Santanella has asked that the Secretary of the State's office reimburse his town for this needless expense. I concur. Not creating needless costs for taxpayers is a bipartisan concern.”

Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas didn’t create the culture of political corruption in Bridgeport, she inherited the problem. However, the election follies are still going on. Maybe a fresh crew is needed to clean house and end the endemic fraud?

Last night Team Lumaj traveled to Glastonbury for the Independent Party meet the candidates event and then ended the night at The Mill House in Torrington for the RTC Meet and Greet. Thank you to everyone who came out!
This is EXACTLY why I’m running for Secretary of the State.
Connecticut voters deserve elections that are accurate, transparent, and accountable. Admitted errors by my opponent that contributed to cases reaching our Supreme Court cannot be dismissed as minor mistakes.
As Secretary of the State, I will prioritize proper training, clear statewide standards, and immediate accountability. Connecticut voters deserve confidence in every election.

Team Lumaj continues to travel across CT and the one thing that is clear is voters want change! Last night we were at the National Night out in Vernon and earlier this week Peter joined @CTGOP Vice Chairwoman Mary Ann Turner in Enfield at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Festival.

This week’s ruling confirms what we have been saying: Connecticut’s election system is suffering from a serious lack of competent leadership. Local election officials and candidates should be able to trust the guidance they receive from the Secretary of the State’s office. In this case, inaccurate information created confusion, led to costly litigation, and disrupted an election.
While the court has now provided a path forward, Connecticut voters deserve better than election administration by mistake and courtroom correction. As Secretary of the State, I will demand accuracy, accountability, and clear guidance so that every candidate is treated fairly and every voter can have confidence in our elections.

From Greece to Turkey and back to Greece, negotiating a peace deal between them. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, founder of Turkish Republic, whose monument is in Marmaris, which I visited, said : Peace at Home, Peace in the World. He aligned Turkey with the West!
It is about time that we stop funding. These countries are not willing to help us when we need them or at least to be there for us. You can go all away back to 911-to present these countries haven’t been there for the United States. Therefore, it is the right thing to do. Thank you, President Trump!
