You know what shook me when I was Muslim?

The story of Hosea. God tells a prophet to marry a woman He knows will betray him.

She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, used up, worthless to the world.

And God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK.

To pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. Hosea 3.

I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Why would any man do that?

Then I realized I was the wife.

I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters. I sold myself cheap. I made myself worthless.

And God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.”

He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.”

That’s the Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean.

He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty.

Islam told me to make myself worthy of God.

Hosea showed me a God who pays to redeem the unworthy.

The cross was Him naming the price.

Praise the Lord.

EDINBURG, NY, April 27 — Sticker Mule CEO Anthony Constantino’s lead among MAGA Republicans grew by 21 points following President Trump’s endorsement to a record breaking 51-point lead over his lone primary opponent according to a poll by GrayHouse who also conducts polling for Congresswoman Stefanik.

“Constantino was already leading by 30 points before the endorsement,” said campaign manager Lenny Roudik. “Our campaign won over the President by first winning over the citizens who overwhelmingly supported Anthony Constantino due to his success in business and tenacity fighting for President Trump's re-election against aggressive boycotts by Democrats.”

Constantino is fully self funding his Congressional campaign with $7.6 million of his own money to be nobody’s man but yours. The Sticker Mule CEO frequently remarks that he doesn't like asking for money or spending time on fundraising. In fact, he believes he may end up indefinitely self funding his political career.

“I never wanted investors in business because they try to control you,” said Constantino. “Big political donors try to control you too so I am averse to accepting money from anyone.”

Constantino believes one of his top issues in Congress will be fighting corruption. President Trump called New York State the most corrupt state in the union. Constantino agrees and sometimes is seen wearing a t-shirt with the President’s quote. He looks forward to rooting out corruption locally and nationally once in Congress.

Your brain treats your own kid's first taste of blueberries the same way it treats winning money. Watch a stranger's kid do the same thing, and nothing happens. Brain scans proved it.

Researchers have run dozens of experiments on this. When parents look at a photo of their own child, the dopamine reward areas light up. The same areas that fire when you eat sugar, fall in love, or get a promotion. For a stranger's child, those areas stay quiet. The reward circuit is wired specifically for your kid.

The boss is dealing with the opposite problem. Scientists call it hedonic adaptation, which is a fancy way of saying your brain gets bored fast. A Dutch study tracked 1,530 people before and after a vacation. Most came back no happier than people who never went away at all. The biggest happiness boost was actually before the trip, from looking forward to it. A Korean study found post-vacation happiness lasts about a month, then fades back to normal. Vacation length between 4 and 14 days made no difference.

So the boss has to keep upgrading. Bali in year two feels like Tuesday in year two. The brain adjusts to the new normal in weeks, so the next trip has to be bigger and more expensive to feel anything new.

Kid firsts skip this entirely. Each first is brand new because your kid is brand new. A 2025 USC study scanned new fathers watching videos of their own baby. Their brains lit up across three areas at once: reward, emotion, and the regions that try to read what someone else is thinking. None of this happened for a stranger's baby.

A four dollar box of blueberries can hit a parent's brain harder than a five thousand dollar dinner hits the boss's brain. Different brains, different rules.
