@miketgould No joke - I had a dream last night where it turned out there was an old trade clause we weren’t aware of and our pick was bumped back to 16. Seriously. The Flames are like microplastics. Being a fan of this team is affecting us in ways we haven’t realized yet

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@Pete___Hughes Sounds like he was almost traded to Ottawa last month. Maybe Conny’s thinking the same way

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@miketgould Also, btw, wtf are the Flames doing in all of this? How do they expect to build their fanbase? And what message does this send to a community that’s spending a fortune on their new rink?

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@miketgould It sucks - but it’s Rogers loss - talented broadcasters who care about the Flames and the city will always have an audience. If there’s a market to sell NHL tickets, there’s also a market for listeners. When one door closes…

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@miketgould Way too early prediction for Zayne Parekh’s extension… and do they get it done next summer?

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@JamesJohnsonYYC Clarke needs a new agent. The Nemec deal should age well

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@miketgould (Contract) Disclosure Day

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@RingOfFireCGY That trade wasn’t a home run, but it was a solid base hit. He respected a vet’s request to be traded to a contender, which was an important step in his longterm goal of rehabbing this org’s reputation with players and agents (which is gonna take time).

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@miketgould Why?

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@miketgould C’mon. Honzek below Hextall and Potter. Honzek’s already established he’s an NHL player. I mean c’mon.

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@jpsandhu79 Agreed - but then also a bonus for the player if the team asks him to waive. Say 10% of the total value of the contract

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@FlamesNation If Conroy actually thinks he’ll get a future all star there, I’d trade anything not named Parekh, Gridin, or Wolf

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@miketgould Man, the Flames will have a really tough decision if they stay at 6. But I’ll say this, it’s the first time in a long time that I believe in the GM’s ability to pick the best prospect available

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@miketgould You just had me convinced on Carels 🙄

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@RyanNPike The Chase is so awesome, I’ve shown it to non-hockey fans and they still really enjoyed it. It’s as much-watch for me as Drive To Survive. This is how you keep fans engaged through a rebuild! Looking forward to next season!

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@PinderReport Damn it Pinder, answer the question!

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@CofRedCentral Feeling good… looking forward to it…

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@RyanNPike The cap hit would drop from 1,015,833 to 981,667… This is the most Pike tweet ever 😂 Appreciate your work buddy! 🙏

[TheRampantLion @RealRampantLion]

@JFreshHockey I still think he could become the next Joe Nieuwendyk
