@PingreeHannah believes schoolgirls don't deserve private spaces nor sports free of males?
She wants girls to be forced to undress next to - and compete against - males without consent?
Our referendum, to protect the boundaries & sex-based rights of kids, she calls "hateful"?
This is GASLIGHTING of young girls, including those that have been speaking up about voyeurism, masturbation, violence and mental trauma from males in their private spaces & sports.
This is BULLYING the females that say they DO NOT consent to males in their bathrooms & locker rooms.
We should believe females. Respect their intimate boundaries. Honor their dignity. And protect their sex-based rights...
Anything else is regressive, sexist and discriminatory.
Our referendum, for sex-designated sports and spaces in schools, is progressive and inclusive:
- Everyone plays, nobody is banned, ever
- Everyone has a sex
- Sex is not gender (definitionally, scientifically, legally)
- There is no right or wrong way to be male or female (dress, present, feel however you want - wonderful!)
Prioritizing gender identity over biological reality is inequitable, discriminatory and regressive. Equal rights and equal protection require a common denominator, and Sex is the one common, innate and immutable trait that every human shares.
Even SCOTUS agreed 9-0 that Title IX is a sex-based right (NOT a gender-identity-based right), and 6-3 that sex-designated sports provides equal protection.
Almost 70% of Mainers (the majority of EVERY political party's voters) want sex-designated sports and spaces for kids in schools. This is common sense stuff. And reinforced by every poll, ever.
Who's will is Hannah Pingree going to be representing if it's not the will of the Maine people? How could she be committed to policies that violate the Federal Civil Rights of kids, and disproportionally impact young females the most?
Why would anyone believe "inclusion" comes at the price of denying the sex-based rights of young women in their public school? Does anyone truly believe that prioritizing gender identity over biological reality is equitable?
The only reason we've needed a citizen's initiative to correct this issue is because the elected (and prospective) elite are pushing policies that are OUT OF TOUCH with reality and what Mainers actually want. The Maine legislature, MPA and governor could have fixed this a year ago, and designated school sports and private space by Sex. We didn't need to get here.
Please change course. Before you leave our daughters further behind, and all the voters of Maine as well.
๐ฏ Use of personal responsibility, self control, work ethic & integrity, VS Deflecting responsibility, lack of discipline, & victim mindset, just for starters.
Spot on!! ๐ฏ๐๐
I canโt wait for the comments!!
Nicklas Nilsson explains the difference between right-wing and left-wing people in spot-on text on Facebook:
"If a right-wing person is gay, then he is, and he doesn't care what others think.
If a left-winger is gay, then he demands legal changes, protests against everything and everyone, and turns it into a political struggle.
If a right-winger is vegan, then he simply doesn't eat meat.
If a left-winger is vegan, then he wants to ban meat, halt food production, and protest outside farms and chicken farms.
If a right-winger doesn't like guns, then he just doesn't buy any.
If a left-winger doesn't like guns, then he tries to ban them, prevent everyone else from owning one, and hates those who do.
If a right-winger is worried about the climate, then he flies less, drives an electric car if it suits him, and sorts his waste.
If a left-winger is worried about the climate, then he wants to ban fossil fuel cars, air travel, and meat for everyone else, protest outside factories, and demand that the state forces the change.
If a right-winger wants to give his children a good education, then he moves to an area with good schools, or chooses a private school, or gets involved himself.
If a left-winger wants to give his children a good education, then he demands more tax money from everyone, equal results for all, a ban on charter schools, and protests against every inequality.
If a right-winger complains about his job or workplace.. he doesn't. He changes jobs or starts his own business.
If a left-winger complains about his job โ then it's the boss, the company, or the colleagues who are at fault. He demands collective agreements, strikes, changes for the whole community, and protests against the company so that it suits him.
If a right-winger is dissatisfied with his housing or rent, then he moves, renovates, or buys something else.
If a left-winger is dissatisfied with his housing or rent, then he demands rent freezes, more subsidies, regulations for everyone, and protests against landlords and politicians.
If a right-winger fails with a business or an investment that goes wrong, then he gets up, dusts himself off, and tries again tomorrow.
If a left-winger runs out of money on the 24th, then he blames the rich for having too much and needing to contribute more, blames the lottery win that didn't come home last week, and mutters that he has such damn bad luck.
If a right-winger sees this โ then he sends it to a few friends for a good laugh.
If a left-winger sees this โ then he tries to argue against it, get it removed, and delete me from Facebook."

Rep. James White has sent a letter to Shenna Bellows suggesting that Troy Jackson is not legally allowed to become the Senate nominee:
"The apparent justification for Mr. Jackson's eligibility depends entirely on treating the June primary and November general election as separate elections. That interpretation is difficult to reconcile with the United States Supreme Court's decision in Storer v. Brown, which held that a primary election is โan integral part of the entire election processโ and the first stage of a two-stage election by which voters choose their public officials."
@aaronpellish@MaineWireJon Susan Collins has class Troy Jackson is a thug. Itโs like the beauty and the beast. Maybe that should be the title of this race.
@EricMetaxasShow Yes, many of us already knew this information. However, there are an awful lot of people who donโt have a clue, and I think it was meant for them. For the rest of us, it was vindication.
@MatthewGagnon Excellent question- Democrat lead House and Senate voted for her. I donโt think, qualifications, character or integrity matter to themโฆ Come to think of it, intelligence doesnโt either.
More evidence that Real science is suppressed and science fiction becomes the propagandized narrative the public swallows whole without a critical thought in mind.
Occasionally (not too often)...I share a video clip that should really be shared with every human on the planet. Seriously.
This is one of those - the only clip people need to see, on Rockefeller's Climate Change project:
