But Twitter didn't reply, and the jerk who hacked my account made it mimic the account of Elon Musk - of all things. Twitter then suspended the account - without notifying me, the 10-year account holder until the hacker came along.

The problem was that when I took my new job, I forgot to update my cell number they had to verify who I was, so restoring my account without Twitter's help was impossible.
