"In the game we are opponents, but after the game we are all Christians, we are all brothers, and we said a little prayer because we believe that Jesus is glorified through the game."
- Germany’s Felix Nmecha after their 7-1 win vs Curacao
One of the wildest self-owns in the debate:
The Muslim side argued that a society allowing alcohol is worse because alcohol contributes to domestic violence.
But then the metric is no longer “alcohol.”
The metric becomes domestic violence.
Oops!
So the question becomes very simple:
Which societies actually produce more abused women?
Because for the beaten wife, it does not matter whether the excuse was Jack Daniel’s, “culture,” or Qur’an 4:34.
The moment domestic violence became the metric, @InspiringPhilos flipped it with the data: Muslim societies/communities statistically have higher domestic violence.
At that point, alcohol was irrelevant.
If the worse society is the one producing more abused women, their argument just became an argument against Islam.
Good job, @InspiringPhilos.
Glory to the Lord Jesus!
This is why islam is evil. Watch four Muslims try to justify a 53 year old man consummate a marriage to a 9 year old! There is no justification for this evil!
