Producers of Silence of the Lambs are apologizing because Buffalo Bill mistakenly thought he was transsexual. He was not transsexual and the film points this out. So, they're apologizing for the identity error made by the guy who cut off Benjamin Raspail's head and put it in a storage unit with a moth in its mouth. Then, he kidnapped a couple fat girls and wore their skins to a one person dance party in his basement. Last but certainly not least, that silly goose committed the cardinal sin of making a mess in Mrs. Lippman's kitchen by dropping business cards all over the floor. I'm glad the producer's straightened this whole thing out with a not at all asinine apology.
