once u stop fantasizing about an ideal version of urself & start working towards it by setting ur alarm clock earlier, working out, reading & stop procrastinating you’ll realise that it was so easy all along. ur ideal self will only ever exist in ur mind until u make the decision
not everyone will have the context, capacity, or the interest to understand you fully, and that must be acceptable to you. you cannot control how you’re perceived, only how truthfully you present yourself.
you wake up and reach for your phone before your eyes focus. scroll through a hundred thoughts that aren’t yours until your own voice sounds like someone you used to know and by noon you’ve consumed more information than your grandparents did in a year but can’t name a single thing that actually moved you. the feed keeps serving up other people’s lives and you keep swallowing them whole, mistaking the fullness for satisfaction when really you’re just bloated on nothing. you’ve become a processing unit instead of a person and the loneliest part is how normal it feels.
Based on this video and what I've seen, I've come to these conclusions:
1) The older kid was being disrespectful to his step Dad (the one in blue shirt), and Mom wouldn't do nothing about it.
2) The little kid with the broomstick keeps smacking the step Dad with a broomstick, and the Mom once again does nothing about it.
3) The Dad is right and has a valid crashout on the disrespectful kid who is older while ignoring the little kid smacking him with a broomstick. An abusive father wouldn't let a kid smack him with a broomstick.
4) The Dad is done with this family and wants to leave but he loves the sons and the Mom too much to leave and keeps giving them chances.
Everyone saying domestic abuse by the father obviously is biased and thinks a Dad yelling at their kids is abusive. This is why society is soft.
