Absolutely LOVE this from our school district superintendent.
Sure, we could do virtual classes on snow days now, but why would we take *another* thing away from the kids?
I dunno what it says about me but this email almost made me cry
I am happy to work with Republicans on this issue where there’s common ground, but you almost had me murdered 3 weeks ago so you can sit this one out.
Happy to work w/ almost any other GOP that aren’t trying to get me killed.
In the meantime if you want to help, you can resign.
No one can tell me that if it had been a group of Black Lives Matter protestors yesterday that they wouldn’t have been treated very differently than the mob that stormed the Capitol.
We all know that’s true — and it’s unacceptable.
My heart is hurting for the mothers & fathers who lost children to brutality over nothing and are now watching terrorists & white supremacists easily attack our Capitol while taking selfies with the police & being called ✨special✨ by our deranged president. #25thAmendmentNow
@DebClapp1 I honestly think no matter what subject you teach, teachers should give an opportunity for a class discussion regarding current events going on, especially on subjects like this.
If you missed our meeting today, check our Google Classroom! Students who are interested in being part of a focus group have until this weekend to fill out the form. We will also have whole group meetings the second Wednesday of every month. Hope to see you next time!
Just met with the Hamilton-Wenham Social Justice Committee tonight. So excited to announce that you can look forward to us and our fellow students presenting this Wednesday (11/25). Stay tuned!
