1. The Palestinians had the 1947 border option and wanted all the Jews dead instead. They didn't lose land until they tried to follow through on that desire.

2. The Palestinian population has increased dramatically since 1947. If it's a genocide then the Jews are the least effective genociders in human history.

Not really. The Palestinians are literally the people who rejected the right of the Jews to return to The region. The other half of the Muslims in that area all became Israeli citizens with equal rights and representation in the government.

Every Palestinian had the opportunity to accept that same arrangement, or just stop trying to kill all the Jews and have their own state, amd they rejected it every time. The only answer they will accept is the annihilation of the Jews and the reconquest of the entire region for Islam.

The correct answer is that there are lots of Muslims who are nice decent people, but that's because those people reject the violence inherent in Islamic doctrine. They are good people because they are bad Muslims.

I love your contributions to the discourse. but this one illustrates why Libertarians are politically useless and always will be.

Put plainly, you make perfect the enemy of good.

The mainstream of humanity is, unfortunately, not educated about economics. Therefore, practical politics isn't actually about making optimal public policy. It's about winning elections, and then hopefully being able to make policy that optimizes the economy as much as practical in a world where "unlimited free shit" is a mich easier sell to roughly half of the population than "Get government out of your way so that you can do shit for yourself".
