Era de un vecino. Por suerte era.
Necesita tratamiento.
El Refugio ayuda a cuanto animalito esta en la calle y tambien le llevan, pero tiene mas de 300.
Saben cuanto cobra un veterinario verdad?
Sin embargo Pato sigue luchando por los abandonados.
No todos pueden tener animales en su casa o mas de los que ya tienen, pero podemos donar y hacer que el Refugio siga su Obra de hace tantos años.
Si la conocieran a Pato sabrian de su gran amor. Quisiera ser el 10% de lo que es y hace ella por los mas vulnerables.

We wanted so badly to save him. We wanted to give him months and years of running free, knowing happiness, but after six long days of fighting, his body had simply had enough.

As hard as this is, we are taking comfort in knowing how his story ended. He didn't die alone, scared, or forgotten on the streets. In his final days, he was warm, safe, fed, and surrounded by people who loved him endlessly.

Thank you to everyone who cared about Bear. We wish we had more time, but we are so grateful we could give him peace when he needed it most. Run free, big guy. You’ll always be part of our family.

A poor Pit Bull had gotten lost and was so terrified that his whole body wouldn't stop trembling. He wandered alone through an open field, growling and barking at anyone who came near because he was overwhelmed with fear and no longer trusted anyone enough to let them get close. The rescuers were incredibly patient, gently bringing him to the shelter. But even there, he quietly shut down, curling into himself, frightened and withdrawn from everything around him.

Thankfully, the rescue team found his family's missing dog post online and quickly got in touch with them. The moment he saw his beloved family again, his eyes lit up instantly. It was as if all his fear melted away, replaced by pure joy and overwhelming relief when he realised he was finally going home. 💖🐶🏡

🚨 6 full days since we found him screaming in agony in an alley way and Mr Bear is still alive.

🏥 I thought we lost him a couple of times In the last 72 hours. He was really struggling to hang on.

🩸 We now know that it is leptospirosis that ravaged his body. It’s a disease passed on by rats and stagnant water.

🤒 His extreme pain is being managed and he has IV drips and all the meds he needs. He was puking, diarrhea and severe life threatening anemia all weekend. I don’t really know how he held on.

🥘 Last night and today he is back eating and drinking. It’s a tiny step but we think he might be 10% better. Still critical and he could slip away very easily but we all have some hope just looking at him today.

👁️ For the first time he has some clarity in his eyes. They are relaxing as he knows he is safe.

🛌 At the moment his best friend is sleep and his medicines.

I don’t know how this story ends and it’s still a long shot we save him as he hasn’t even been able to move in 6 days. But if you told me Bear would be alive today and eating tiny bits of poached chicken I would have bitten your arm off for that outcome just 2 days ago.
