In 1894, the U.S. government published Farmersâ Bulletin No. 23, evaluating foods by nutrition, protein content, and cost.
Fast forward 132 years, and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans shape what is served in schools and hospitals, influencing the diets of millions âŹïž
New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie:
Â
Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriffâs Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrieâs home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors - including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.
Â
Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance.

I took to the House floor this morning to recognize Walmart CEO Doug McMillon for his visionary leadership and remarkable success. At the end of this month, he will conclude a twelveâyear run as Walmartâs CEO, and I was proud to highlight his incredible American success story.
According to USDA, between 30% and 40% of our national food supply goes uneaten. This equates to roughly 133 billion pounds of food annually.
AFPIâs @TBennettDC and @realsarahfrey joined @epaleezeldin at Scott Air Force Base to launch EPAâs Feed It Onward Pilot Programâreducing waste, supporting farmers, and nourishing Americaâs heroes.
Glad to see @thecampbellsco take actionâremoving synthetic dyes from their food and beverage portfolio by 2026. I urge other companies to follow their lead. Together, we will Make America Healthy Again.
Proud to announce EPAâs new Feed It Onward initiative to reduce food waste nationwide. Kicked off our first partnership in Southern Illinois this morning, where we worked with local farmers from Frey Farms to deliver a truckload of produce to our troops at Scott Air Force Base. Makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE than having this fresh food go to waste! https://t.co/49KoA0KaDh
Our Farmers First Agenda lays out bold solutions to promote healthier eating, support U.S. farmers & reduce dependence on foreign-grown, ultra-processed food.

Just months after @HHSgov and @US_FDA announced it will phase out petroleum-based synthetic dyes from the nationâs food supply, @KraftHeinzCo has committed to remove all artificial dyes from its foods by the end of 2027.
This voluntary stepâphasing out harmful dyes in brands like Kool-Aid, JellâO, and Crystal Lightâproves that when the government sets clear, science-based standards, the food industry listens and acts. I urge more companies to follow this lead and put the well-being of American families first. Together, we will Make America Healthy Again.
What a blessing to welcome Governor Mike Braun and Sarah Frey to AFPI Headquarters!đșđžđż
From the heartland to the halls of leadership, these two are redefining what it means to serve with grit, grace, and grounded innovation. Governor Braun shared how heâs transforming Indiana through wellness initiatives, homegrown health solutions, and a deep-rooted belief in the power of personal responsibility. And Sarah FreyâAmericaâs Farmerâis a living example of what happens when women lead with courage, conviction, and a can-do spirit.
Together, theyâre cultivating more than cropsâtheyâre cultivating hope, health, and a future where families come first. We are so grateful for their leadership and for their heart for the American people. đȘđŒâ€ïžđœ #TruthInAction #AmericaFirstWomen
What a great conversation with Sarah Frey (sheâs an Indiana farmer herself - Frey Farms is Americaâs top producer of pumpkins with an operation in Poseyville) about our mission to make it easy for fresh local produce to get to Hoosier tables. @A1Policy

Thank you, @GovBraun, for visiting the America First Policy Institute studio to chat with our Senior Advisor for Rural Policy, @realsarahfrey, and Chair for Rural Policy, @TBennettDC. We appreciate your longstanding leadership in championing Farmers First and advancing responsible nutrition policy rooted in America First principles.
If you havenât read Sarahâs book #TheGrowingSeason a big part of her farming story began in Indiana with cantaloupes grown in the Wabash River Valley! đ đ https://t.co/z7De91cB6A
Look forward to hearing more about @realsarahfrey & @GovBraunâs discussion at @A1Policy!
Sat down with Sarah Frey of Frey Farms at @A1Policy to talk about how weâre expanding access to fresh produce from Indianaâs great farmers. Make Indiana Healthy Again means new opportunities for Hoosier agriculture.
Thank you @A1Policy for highlighting the role ag producers play in connecting federal food & nutrition programs with healthy food options!

In Idaho, we banned soda and candy from our food assistance programs because we believe everyone deserves access to healthy food.
âAmericaâs nutrition policies should empower farmers to provide Americans with access to domestically grown, nutritious foods that build strong bodies and minds.â
Sarah Frey, CEO of Frey Farms and AFPI Senior Advisor on Rural Policy, introduces the Farmers First agenda: real reform for nutrition policy while empowering Americaâs farmers. @realsarahfrey
