@mboyle1959 I agree. The greatest asset we have as coaches is our eye, however the challenge with that is allowing what we see in our athletes movements dictate how we progress their training and not pride or outside influence. Fortunately I learned from the best @ZachDechant@ToddKensler
@mboyle1959 Above the knee is exaggerating. More like mid thigh, I introduced the movement she showed she is capable and has enjoyed the process and she has an immense level of confidence with it.

@mboyle1959 I respect your opinion, but why must it end in an injury? Perhaps the “good training” comes with load management and proper cues. Lifting a weighted object from a position similarly above the knee is a fairly common task even for the elderly.
