Answering a few of the common q's re tokenomics announcement:
- 10% to early contributors
9% to users who participated in the Linea voyages and earned LXP. There will be additional criteria applied (thresholds, multipliers) and an eligibility checker with those details will be made available prior to TGE. The snapshot has been taken for this and all sybil-filtering was completed previously.
There are no CEX listing, InfoFi, or other dilution from this airdrop. This is not going to the team or investors.
1% to strategic builders. This includes Linea-aligned dapps and communities and will be managed discretionary by the Linea team. Builders can choose to distribute to their users/communities and allocation will be dependent on a number of factors including plans that showcase benefits to Linea.
- What about LXP-L
Any rewards for providing liquidity are included in the 75% ecosystem fund. This includes past and future LPs, and is handled separately from user airdrops like LXP. Details on LXP-L will be handled via the Consortium
- If circ supply is 22%, and EC airdrop is 10%, what's the other 12% for
This is sufficient day 1 allocation to support exchange liquidity and market makers, liquidity provisioning, time-sensitive builders grants and partnerships, and other initiatives pursued by governance. The Consortium will provide transparency on usage of funds as per the charter. The ecosystem fund has a 10Y unlock schedule and is structured for long term horizon.
- What's next?
We will be sharing more details on the native yield bridge design, the charter for the Linea Consortium, and how Linea will play a central part in the future of Ethereum.
In parallel, we're driving towards TGE. Information on the airdrop eligibility checker and TGE date will be shared in advance once we have the exact time locked down. Stay safe from scams in the meantime and only trust the main @LineaBuild account

This morning we were alerted to an issue at with the sequencer after a large bundle was submitted via eth_sendBundle, causing a temporary halt.
The issue was mitigated quickly and system is back fully functional. We've removed access to eth_sendBundle for third-parties until we can conduct a full analysis.
This removes any community-driven solutions for compromised wallets looking to claim today for TGE, but does ensure the TGE goes ahead as planned. The claim window is 90 days and will share follow up comms on next steps.
BIG DAY
I still donโt think people realize the gravity of an ecosystem fund the size of Linea.
Most projects end up giving 50% of supply to insiders which is sold aggressively over 3-4 years.
Whereas Linea has majority of supply managed by accountable institutions to grow ecosystem and fund open source software over decades time horizon.
This supply is fixed and as that growth leads to expansion of transactions, it is deflationary due to the burn mechanism.
Everyone is sidelined, except for airdrop recipients.
No other sell pressure.
No team or investor allocations.
The token supply is deflationary.
And ETH capital is coming.
Five weeks ago, Ethereum celebrated 10 years of zero downtime. Next week, LINEA becomes the most significant token to enter the ecosystem since ETH itself.
The eligibility checker is now live ahead of the September 10 TGE.
