But without my biases for Nolan, I will say helen is miscast for it drift a little much from source even for interpretation but is secondary character so its not big deal

@syddXo7 @Coalzhenitsyn story is base geographically in Greek, but not strictly about its history, so it’s not chained the Greek ethnicity and is open to adaptation. The point of the movie is to use the frame work to create a good movie, forcing ethnicity is compromising to the quality of the movie

@princeofthef4ll @tylerdovey What I meant was he never will fully represent greek if they don’t speak Greek ,so he prioritized actor he preferred to work with than particular ethnicity. What truly matter to me is whether the interpretation is good, not if is identical to Homer‘s version or representative

Se, is an American adaptation, hiring Greek actors you might as well let them speak Greek, Nolan use odyssey as frame work creatively, not saying he owned the story .

She had highest instagram fans, casting her simply comes with marketing by it self when she repost the trailer, that is one of the reason why she was continuously hired, so no one wants it is simply inaccurate
