@zalsterz@hellothere23813@designatlasexp It’s actually because when the left hand rises- the *right* leg rises too, and viceversa.
u wouldn’t see both the right hand and leg rising like shown in the “wrong” image.
In a still photo its not noticeable but in animation its a crucial rule if you want movement to look smooth
@Acidswine_@MrD_Pl@LMagxedooM Yeah actually
Not everything needs to be useful it’s a cool and rare discovery that gets people imagination going
If you don’t like it don’t interact with it the game is gigantic enough
@_greywithin I think that the other viltrumites allow themselves to grow soft easier, because unlike Nolan who had to actively battle off his sympathy for his family and humanity in favor of viltrum, the others are all in the same situation together and mark’s existence, proof that they can
@WitchyBearDrew@ZHottle16872@pokemon_daily Same way people already knew sprigatito was going to evolve into a bipedal cat: it’s predictable for gamefreak to do based on previous trends lol
In any case I don’t personally care what direction gecqua evolves into, I’m sure gamefreak would nail it
@WitchyBearDrew@ZHottle16872@pokemon_daily Same reason people were upset with fire/fighting starters for so long. Blaziken, infernape and emboar are all beloved but when they were all introduced generations in a row, the trend got stale and people were beginning to hope for something different.
@nkdubuisson@jesterspouse I agree! with this strict of a writing method you gotta take what you can get
I commend the writers for being able to tell such a compelling story under these limitations using creative ways around and through it
My og intent was to highlight the reasons behind people’s critique
@nkdubuisson@jesterspouse My point was that the majority of the characters only grow if Steven is there to witness it, and stuff like the off colors are a just mild exception to that notion
(There’s not much room for a cohesive reply in twitter lol)
I also don’t know why I’m debating so hard over SU haha
@_false_idol_@jesterspouse I like the ending too! It ties up the show in a very nuanced way!
But even still, at least imo, it doesn’t overwrite the 5 seasons of the og show, so criticizing it should still be valid
The criticism is the reason stuff got addressed in future in the first place after all
@nkdubuisson@jesterspouse The thing with the off colors, as much as I like them, is that their existence at least in the og show can be boiled down to a single fun episode with no bearing on the on-going narrative.
By scaling them against most of the cast it’s apparent they’re a (pretty safe) exeption
