They dodged that bullet, built over 120 bilateral treaties with the EU, delivering trade access without giving up their currency, laws, and borders.
Today, their GDP per capita is double that of France and ahead of all EU countries while being landlocked by EU member states.

You're the one coming up with these claims that I'm part of the problem! You don't understand how a census works do you? People self-identify their ethnicity alongside multiple other categories i.e. housing, gender, salary, qualifications etc. In the 2021 census I alongside 76% of people wrote myself down as White British, I put myself down as this ethnicity because my dad is White English whilst my mum is White Other, personally I believe this counts as White British but perhaps you or Rupert Lowe would disagree, that's up to you. In 2011 that figure of White British was 82.8% and in 2001 it was 89.7%. Based on these trends, the percentage of people who self-identify on census surveys that they are White British will be less than 50% in 40 years or so. This is why leftists like you are a waste of time. You either don't understand anything or you pretend to not understand anything and then people on the right have to write mini essays explaining all of this to you only for you to say something along the lines of "oh well I don't think it's a problem". Do some research of your own for once.

All I can suggest is you live in London for a year and then Warsaw, Budapest or Kyiv for a year. Maybe then you will see. If a city at war in one of Europe's poorest countries is a nicer place to live in than in one of the world's global cities in the 5th largest economy then you know something is seriously wrong.

London is a global city which in theory is meant to attract the best of Britain and the best of the world. But thanks to successive govt policies of unlimited mass immigration it has ended up attracting the worst people from outside the UK. If London was for example 80% White British and the 20% were hard working and well-behaved immigrants who integrate then it would be the best city in the world. I wasn't alive during this time but based on conversations with older people, London was indeed the best city in the world during the 1980s and 1990s.

I think it's because younger generations who are born in the UK experience acculturation and a lack of identity. They feel as though they don't belong in Pakistan nor in Britain. When I was a child I also experienced this with both of my identities and I really hated Britain with a burning passion.

This argument makes zero sense because 'White British' is a self-ascribed category. Population projections simply look at the existing decline between the 2001, 2011 and 2021 census, calculate fertility rates for mothers with infants ascribed as 'White British' and project these trends forward under various assumptions.

When 53.1% of births in England and Wales in 2025 were White British (down from 62.5% in 2015) and 59.8% of primary school pupils in England in 2026 were White British (down from 68.9% in 2015), it is simply absurd to pretend demographic change isn't happening and that White Britons wouldn't become a minority in the decades ahead.

Here are my experiences in London which caused me to leave:

I've lived in Forest Gate, Harrow Road and Stockwell - all majority immigrant areas and I saw lots of dysfunction. Forest Gate is full of litter on the streets and regularly has Islamic marches take place on the high street, that is something I don't wish to see in my country and this is in an area which 30+ years ago had a strong local east end community. On Harrow Road I was once waiting for the bus for work and a mentally ill guy was standing in the middle of the street shouting really aggressive things and intimidating people, who knows, maybe he had a knife and there were lots of school children there. I also had a situation where I was about to get off my stop and there were two roadmen in front of me wearing ski masks, one told the other that I was looking at his phone (I wasn't) to which he turned to me and started aggressively asking me if any of my business was on his phone. There was also another situation where my friends from Estonia arrived to visit me, we went to one shop and a couple minutes later someone tried to steal and had a massive fight with the very nice security guard, then straight after that we went on the street and saw loads of police cars and officers arresting someone. They were all surrounded by non-whites filming them and calling them racist for doing their fucking job. On a separate occassion, one of my friends also took a photo of the high street of Harrow Road since there is a nice view right next to the canal, to which a bunch of black guys instantly crossed the road and told him to delete the photos, clearly indicating that they're up to no good. Finally, in Stockwell every bloody day you see crackheads screaming outside the tube station - go there yourself! People stole things from the Greggs on the high street so often that the staff refused to do anything, one of my flatmates once had to intervene and grabbed a youth by the collar until he let go of his loot. And in all of these areas I used the bus to save money and every other bus journey would have foreigners playing loud music and talking loudly on the phone in their own languages, ignoring people who told them to turn it off. None of these experiences were life threatening, but they were dysfunctional and deeply unpleasant, and all of them were done by ethnic minorities. I've lived in London for 5 years and this shit happens there all the fucking time. I became so sick of it that I moved to Kyiv. We get bombed here all the time and yet somehow, life here is still so much better than it is in London because the people here are actually civilised.
