Lady Gaga says she chose not to speak out against rumors of being transgender because she didn’t want to make being trans seem shameful:
“I didn’t feel like a victim with that lie and I thought: What about a kid who is being accused of that who would think that a public figure like me would feel shame? I’ve been in situations where fixing a rumor was not in the best interest of the well being of other people.”
I'm alive, again!
#ShadowoftheErdtree didn't give us a Godwyn fight, so I tried to will it into existence.
It took me a while because I was out on vacation for a few weeks but I think it turned out pretty neat.

Imagine reading all of this and still convincing yourself that no one wanted to/did talk to deku for 8 years.
Never thought I'd have to defend a spectacular final chapter from anything, but I underestimated Twitter users yet again.
MHA is simply a story of compromise and sacrifice. Izuku is not Naruto, and he never needed to be. While I look at the story as innately reformist and liberal, I can feel respect for Horikoshi's bravery in choosing a fate for the world that is not fully satisfying for anyone.
Honestly kinda like the MHA ending because it feels completely fitting. Spoilers below.
The lack of satisfaction is by design. Many of the villains may get full humanization near the end, but they don't necessarily get forgiven or redeemed. Their decisions feel real.
Every hero exits the war with trauma, it's simply the end of a war. There is no satisfaction at the end of a war. Izuku's fate is obviously very unsatisfying but HE'S okay with it. Or as okay with it as he can be. He was still able to achieve his dream, no matter how long it took
