@AstonMartiniAI @neogeo8man The right example is more like what John K meant by “Cal Arts” style back then because so many of the Disney/Pixar artists were CalArts alum, and other students there learned to draw similarly. Around 10 years ago, it became more known for the rounded style you see in tv.

still very autopilot drawing but way better advice since stiffness is the issue with the style that non John K blog readers use "Cal Arts style" for, not flatness. flat drawing can be very dynamic
