"Sorry for the little off-topic post.
Many people are saying that I am associated with Shibir, Jamaat, BNP. Look, you never had brains before, and you won't have them in the future either, otherwise you would understand this simple thing that if someone opposes injustice and wrongdoing, it doesn't make them a supporter of the opposing party. One can stand against injustice and wrongdoings as a common person, speak out, and protest.
Even at the beginning of this movement, when Awami League was within certain limits, I had some preference for them. I admit that I was an Awami supporter; I still like the fundamental principles of Awami League. But do you know one thing? There are no principles above the people. What good are principles if the people are not at peace?
But no matter how much I align with Awami ideals, I cannot accept such a large-scale murder, injustice, and oppression. My inner humanity doesn't support staying silent in the face of this wrongdoing and injustice. If I remained silent, the humanity within me would have lost. As a human being, I would have lost.
I am always against injustice and oppression, even if the perpetrator is someone close to me or a family member. I will stand against them.
I was the first to oppose BNP, Jamaat, Shibir's support and minor participation in this movement when the only demand on the table was quota reform, and the movement was confined to students only.
But from the 18th until now, after the barbarity that has taken place, the demands are no longer just about quota reform; there are many more issues. And the demands are not just of the general students; they are also the demands of the mothers and fathers of the martyrs, the teachers, and the general public, in short, all the people of the country.
Below are some screenshots of my posts, many of which are pro-Awami League. Up until the point when the students were killed, tortured, and harassed in the quota movement, many would think I keep changing my stance. But that's not the case. I praise anyone who does good work, even if they are my arch-enemy, but if that person does something bad the next day, harms the country and its people, I won't hesitate for two minutes to criticize or oppose them, even if they are my close friend or preferred party.
We don't support any party or individual so blindly that we will turn a blind eye to their mistakes or not protest against them. I haven't committed any injustice or wrongdoing with the support of any party or individual that I would be finished if they lose, and therefore, I would become their blind follower out of fear.
The people who support us today, if they do wrong tomorrow, I won't take any time to oppose them. As long as you are good for the country and its people, we are with you. This is our principle. Because it's our, your responsibility as educated sons and daughters to build society.
You should not become a blind follower of anyone. Wherever there is injustice and oppression, my voice will always be against it, no matter who it is.
My sole guide is my conscience; when something bothers my conscience, I don't do it, and I oppose and protest against it.
And no matter what tag is given to me for that, I don't care. The comments of your twisted mind have zero value to me."
