The billionaire media are trying to make everything binary. They have destroyed the middle ground where rational discussion occurs. They thrive & get richer in the realms of extremes. They succeeded in removing #starmer & all the lackies cheering this on suffer most as a result
7 PM's in 10 years is a direct result of Brexit. It's made the country almost ungovernable. And voters want to reward the architect of this mess. Meanwhile the right wing media are loving all the papers they sell as a result.
Bollocks! Pants!
You bunch of cowards you Labor MPs that forced Keir Starmer out. You played right into the hands of the fascist$ who want far right wing parties in power globally. Your unity made you strong. Now you are no better than those you replaced, or who will replace you.
Those that scream the loudest are those that have to most to lose. Which is why right-wing media owned by billionaires will constantly attack left-wing governments. They don't want to pay their share of tax, they don't want workers rights. It costs them profits.
TV & print media (mostly owned by right wing billionaires) really abhor political stability, judging by the lengths they go to to create news, rather than just report it. I guess stability doesn't sell newspapers.
Far right populist parties only offer slurs, slogans & soundbites - no substance.
They have one policy, anti-immigration hiding behind the guise of nationalism & patriotism. They frame arguments as binary - if you don't love the country, you hate it. Don't fall for their fascism
Conservative parties (and far right parties) not in power have a simple game plan that feeds directly into grievance politics. They don't have to make you believe that the governing party is wrong. They just have to make you question it.
For most people, Covid was the first time that they were forced to choose between doing the right thing and doing the popular thing, and most of those people failed to do the right thing even at a known cost to their own and their familyβs own health.
They push past the boundaries to see where the boundary is. By doing this they extend the boundary. Democracy will object n cry foul, but ultimately do nothing saying 'well it could b worse'. It does get worse, but by then its too late.
How does democracy die?
It starts with grievance politics hiding behind the patriotic and nationalist conservative parties. Once they have a foothold the fringe elements (f@sc|5ts) take over. They will spruik their extreme ideas and push the boundaries.
