@MattSakR2NG I agree the JMI stuff was bad, but to say he’s horrible bc of some major issues within the sport itself (NIL, transfer portal) is just ludicrous. Think critically sometimes, Matt. It might do you some good!
@MattSakR2NG Hired the greatest recruiter in the history of the sport who took the school to the Final 4 in 3/4 years. Hired stoops who legit flipped the football program around. Mingione took the baseball team to its first ever CWS appearance. He put the teams in places to be successful
@bosbbn Maybe if people just allowed him to recruit his guys instead of complaining about the type of athlete we were recruiting we wouldn’t be in this position. Let the man get the guys that work within his system. It got us a sweet 16 appearance in year 1 without a huge name transfer!!
@ebsoftball That’s not how the rule is written. It’s specifically written to protect defenders from getting close enough to prevent them from catching elbows on normal basketball moves by the offense. If I’m guarding you and can smell your deodorant, I should probably back up
@Phil_haake@GoBigRedCast No, the player’s cylinder includes the width of a player’s shoulders, the depth of their body, and the height of their arms straight up. Plays like that are exactly why the rule was written
@RedditCFB That BYU was never in? What does it matter if BYU drops from 11 to 13 if neither of them get you into the playoff? Bama will likely drop to 10 as well
@dannykanell So if they opted out today and went 2-1 in their last 3 they could stay in? You’re ruining the sport. (Not even gonna mention the fact that Georgia also struggled @ Auburn earlier in the year. Does that disqualify them too?)
@meditation_frog BYU can’t be “punished” because they were never in. The only way they were ever gonna be in is if they won the Big12. Alabama, right now, is in. Punishing them for losing would be a completely different scenario. Hope this helps!
@KyleTucker_ATH L take here by Kyle. UL’s player was clearly talking to Caitlyn. Reese’s actions went out of her way to degrade Caitlyn Clark, totally unnecessary and classless. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as far as coaches to players apparently
