@TheMediaMines The path was almost boringly consistent. It was always going to be a game about a voodoo doll set in New Orleans. I’ve posted this before, but this concept piece was made when the idea for the game was a week old — It still encapsulates the feel of the game we made.
VHS capture of the Voodoo Vince demo early 2001. We'd been pitching the game for about a year. The response was good but publishers weren't writing any checks. We decided a short demo would help. It did! We signed a prototype deal with Microsoft a couple months later.
