Soul Candi Institute Of Creative Education And Music Industry Launches It's New Academic Cycle
South Africa's leading creative education and music industry platform, Soul Candi Institute of Music and Record Label has officially launched its new academic cycle, with a national student recruitment campaign aimed at driving course registrations.
The campaign, which kicked off earlier this month, will run until the second week of February 2026 targeting aspiring musicians, producers, DJs, vocalists, songwriters and music entrepreneurs across the country.

Sergio Botelho, co-founder of Soul Candi Institute of Music and Record Label said: "This is a 8-week DJ and Live Performance course that equips students with essential, industry-relevant skills ranging from mixing and beat matching to delivering dynamic live sets using Ableton Live, all within Soul Candi’s newly upgraded, fully soundproofed DJ studios."
He said the the course is delivered as physical, in-person programme at the Rosebank campus, Live DJ School offers an immersive, hands-on learning environment that mirrors real-world performance settings and prepares students for club, festival, and live-stage performance.
Botelho said the nationwide campaign underscores Soul Candi’s commitment to developing the next generation of music professionals by combining world-class training, real-world industry exposure, and a strong record label ecosystem.
"Through a mix of digital media, campus activations, industry showcases, alumni success stories, and community outreach, the initiative seeks to inspire young creatives to turn their passion for music into sustainable careers.
