No disagreement the Knicks were fouling a ton last night but it’s when the refs need to make a judgement call when the decisions seem to be one way traffic compared to what’s being called in real time on close plays is harder to be mad about
I get that Knicks fans want to make the refs the story but they really just did foul the shit out of Wemby all second half tonight. They honestly got away with so much even with the fouls that were called.
game 2 Mitch gets an egregious T but Fox doesn’t when he pushes JB. The flagrant on JB close out last night vs same play by Wemby not even a common foul. Castle trucking JB and Wemby straight up assaulting him both should have been flagrants
A source at Madison Square Garden said that Danhausen is internally expected to be a guest in attendance tonight for Game 3 of the NBA Finals

@EricSal_7 Have you legitimately seen video of any Knicks fans "singing We are the Champions already" cause that doesn't sound like a very Knicks fan thing to do so weird for you to say something like that
@SOUTHIE2190 Spurs say "we're the better team, we don't have to change anything" blah blah blah. They celebrated like they won the title after beating the Thunder, but Knicks fans can't be happy about winning 2 on the road on a 13 game winning streak? Who are the soft ones???
It changes the whole dynamic in the city tonight and it’s really disappointing given a lot of fans already feel slighted cause of the way the ticket sales process has played out. Dolan dgaf about the fans we always knew that but read the fucking room
This is true for everyone but New Yorkers IMO. The security measures and watch party cancellations have put a serious damper on what has been organically one of the greatest vibes in sport history all so a billionaire can host the president for clout at the expense of the fans
The trick up their sleeve is that they are the more experienced, deeper, better coached team. Even though the Spurs may have more talented players they are not the better team
next few games the spurs will come out looking desperate like they did games 6 and 7 last series . unless new york has some kind of trick up their sleeve the series will be tied up by next weekend
To any Spurs fan who watched that game last night and is coming out of it feeling like the Knicks got away with more physicality or the refs in some way benefited the Knicks, you’ve lost all credibility period dot
This is great b/c it's actually a perfect example of how Knicks get away with extra physicality all the time. Alvarado stops, loads and shoulder checks Wemby. Wemby doesn't flop & matches the physicality.
There are more parallels between NYK & OKC than anyone wants to admit.
Mitchell Robinson's (NYK) technical foul against Victor Wembanyama (SAS) at 4:56 of the 2nd quarter in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on 6/5/26 has been rescinded upon league review.
I remember being on a date with my gf (now wife) and watching Kristaps tear his ACL at the bar we were at and thinking my life was over and ruining the date. Now we’re in the finals and her and my 3 year old are yelling at the TV with me 😭
No real Knicks fan is saying “F Trae Young” in the year of our lord 2026. He is irrelevant. Anyone still saying that hasn’t been in the trenches and just looking for clout.
