@sharghzadeh Hate to say this Ustad, but seeing sneako this much on your feed is giving Dawa Bro vibes, lest you slowly become a Dawa Bro for anti-dawabroism
Precisely, many "Muslim" families who prohibit marriage when they dislike the match have much less of a problem with an impermissible relationship. Islam, on the other hand, has allowed (when necessary) the enlightened flexibility of marriage without a wali for 1400 years, and it is the position of many of the great salaf. Amidst the overwhelming fitan of 2026, are those who oppose the Hanafi position (the biggest madhhab) really doing so out of ghīra for Islam? Or is it rather ghīra for local custom, patriarchal control, and social perception?
Exceptional work from Mawlana Yasir. The absurd responses to his earlier post were not only exceptionally alarming in their overt ignorance, but also sadly indicative of the simultaneous simple-mindedness and arrogance with which so many of us are now afflicted. If you are an ignoramus, at least have the humility to acknowledge this, and keep quiet about matters that you are incapable of understanding! But the problem is we are unaware of our own ignorance (jahl murakkab): a sad condition which is much more difficult to remedy !
Now everyone is hating on the dawa bros.
The mainstream Muslim community blackballs me, only to take my positions 6, 12, 24 months later.
In this case, they copied my take after a few weeks. We're doing better.
