But that would get dangerously sentimental, and we can’t have that.

So I’ll just say this: I hope this year gives a little back to you.

More moments where you don’t have to be anything for anyone.
More reasons to laugh until that ridiculous laugh comes out.
More music you genuinely love making.
More nights where your brain actually lets you sleep for once.

And maybe, every now and then, a moment where you can look at everything you’ve done and think:
