I know people like to focus on the presidency, but the biggest problem we have today that is impacting our ability to function is a weak Congress, both chambers, that have subordinated themselves to the executive. Ossoff seems a gifted orator and statesman. He's young. Maybe someday he can run for president. But personally, in the meantime, I'd love to see him at the top of Democratic leadership in the Senate. I think he could meet this moment better than Chuck Schumer. He could probably be a bastard if he had to be despite his nice and collegial demeanor. Just thinking out loud.
