I think we should clear somethings here.

President Trump said the following:

1) Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.
2) Iran can never have the capabilities to exert its power outside of its borders.
3) Iran can never have the capabilities to fund terrorism outside of its borders.

He did not say they can't have any other weapons.

Let's address each point.

Point #1: During operation Epic Fury, Iran's nuclear capabilities have been significantly diminished. The MOU that's been signed will ensure there is a inspection and verification regime in place and details around the nuclear dust will be finalized within 60 days.

Point #2: According to official reports, Iran's navy is underwater. It's airforce is wiped out. It's detection systems wiped out. Military based destroyed. Missle launch pads and production facilities largely destroyed.

That gives them limited ability to exert power across the regime.

Point #3: This is the one that's causing so much uproar because of the misinformation that's been going around. Per the MOU, if Iran doesn't constraint their proxies and fullfil the requirements laid out in the MOU, they will not have access to funds.

If they play the long game in order to outlast President Trump's term and then revamp, that's going to be a problem that the next president will have to address.

We need to go back to what the objectives of the Operation Epic Fury was and then make assessment based on the outcomes.

These are complicated situations and things take time to materialize.

The MOU is now signed, focus now needs to get back to the domestic affairs before the midterms.

The responsible parties will monitor the situation with Iran and based on the information and their performance, President Trump will make the next call down the road.
