This message marks the third consecutive month since the launch of Ranked play in CUT in which the community has experienced ongoing issues with this game mode.
The initial problem involved a lack of leaderboard visibility. For the first two months of Ranked play, this forced players to guess their respective rankings while committing significant time to grinding the mode. In the third month, the leaderboard was finally made visible; however, a new issue quickly surfaced. Many players who reasonably believed they had accumulated enough RP to finish within the Top 100 did not receive the corresponding Top 100 reward card.
This continued lack of transparency has become increasingly discouraging and frustrating for the CUT community.
I would appreciate clarification on the following points:
-Is the Top 100 reward allocated per console, or is it awarded to the Top 100 players across all platforms combined?
Historically, in Madden, Top 100 rewards have been distributed separately for PlayStation and Xbox, which aligned with the split auction houses. This precedent has led much of the community to assume the same system would apply here.
-Is it possible to provide a leaderboard that is accurate, final, and fully transparent?
As an example, I personally finished within the Top 60 on the visible leaderboard yet have not received the Top 100 reward.
A simple and effective solution would be to clearly communicate the exact criteria required to earn this reward. Given the long and intensive grind involved, players deserve to know precisely what is required to qualify.
In all previous iterations of EA football titles, the split-console reward system made sense and directly correlated with the separated auction houses. For many in the community, this approach still seems the most logical. More importantly, clear communication—rather than leaving players to make assumptions—would greatly benefit both the CUT community and the EA developers who work tirelessly to create a fun and rewarding experience.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
2trong
