My conference realignment proposal
> 7 Power conferences of 10 teams (Big East with 11)
> Notre Dame remains independent with scheduling agreement w/ Big East
> 5 Midmajor conferences of 10, 12, or 14 teams (64 teams)
Power conferences not named Big East
- 9 conf matches
- 5 non-conf matches
- 2 Power rivals
- 1 other Power teams
- 1-2 midmajor teams
- 0-1 FCS teams
Big East
- 8 conf matches
- 6 non-conf matches
- Scheduling agreement with Notre Dame vs 6 schools
- Notre Dame vs Boston College, permanent matchup
5 midmajor conferences
- 9 conf matches
- 5 non-conf matches
- 1-2 Power teams
- 2-3 midmajor teams
- 1 FCS team
College Football Playoff
- 16 teams
- Top 2 teams from each Power conference
- 2 best Midmajor conf champs
- Teams in same conference are on opposite sides of the bracket
- All 7 Power conf champs and 1 At-Large are seeded 1-8
- Seeds 1-8 have a home game in the First Round
- Semi-Finals held in Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl on January 1
- Final held one week from Saturday (CFB would need NFL to postpone their season so the Final is held the Saturday before the Week 18 matchups on Sunday)
A group of investors and ex-Disney executives have met with 30 athletic directors to pitch a new 70-school football league, @RossDellenger reports.

To my wife who said pick a good photo of me for my birthday.
You’re getting older and divorce is imminent.
So in the meantime. Enjoy the ride.

@cedriksermon@OTD_in_WWE 100% agree. Triple H joining WCW/The Alliance I feel would've been the next chapter in his rivalry with Steve Austin, ending the Two-Man Power Trip, and making Steve Austin take a break from WWF, before Vince motivates him to bring "the old Stone Cold" back.
@Hoosierfan515@OTD_in_WWE They both were announced to return weeks after The Game's return. There's reason to believe that Triple H's influence would've had them return sooner if Triple H was still active.
Doubt it. Triple H was such a great heel, they required Stone Cold and Kurt Angle to both defect to Team Alliance in his absence. Plus, with Triple H active, we might've seen his Kliq buddies return to WWF during the Invasion, given they returned after Triple H's comeback from injury.
SEC continues to not support FBS pooling its TV rights together, something that the new senate bill would allow.
It’s the part of the bill most expected to get Big Ten/SEC pushback.
That time Shaq randomly showed up on WWF RAW back in 1998 and Vince McMahon tried to kick him out for not having a backstage pass 😂
This was Shaq's first ever appearance on WWE TV.
GUNTHER names his all-time dream WrestleMania main event opponents 🔥🔥
- Kurt Angle
- Eddie Guerrero
- Shawn Michaels
- Daniel Bryan
- The Undertaker

NEW: Ole Miss' Pete Golding on tampering accusations from Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney:
"I’m not going to sit up here and say whatever we did or we didn’t do, was it right or was it wrong? But, you know, when you go through what we went through (with tampering), and what you’re seeing day-in and day-out, some things you feel like shouldn’t matter that they’re making a big deal about."
