This week we invited Year 7 and parents/carers to join us for an evening of mathematical fun!

They met our Maths Department, learned about our curriculum which includes aspects of EEF @realisticmaths, and even had a go at solving some problems themselves!

@Mr_Minchin You need to subtract fractions with different denominators when making a dress or fitted suit. Often you would work this out in an approximate way, without actually finding the common denominator. But certain seams need real precision. I assume cabinet making is similar.
