@owenjonesjourno But they didn't own the land? At the time 12% was owned by Jews. Another 12% by Arabs and the rest was the possession of the Ottoman empire. When it fell it became the British Mandate. Where in any of this is the state of Palestine? Your vision of history is simplistic and false.

@owenjonesjourno Which people are "Palestinians" exactly? Where is their shared culture, language, royalty, statehood, flag ect?...... As I understand it the people who would become the "Palestinians" are Arabs with descent from various regions most of them from what is now Syria, Egypt,Jordan..
