@Majewra@Pirat_Nation Blame the "broke bums" who were never losing them any money in the first place by pirating a copy? It's not a physical asset the developer/publisher is being deprived of, it's a digital game that the person was never going to pay for in the first place.
@KinderDev@EgoMoose Future buyers should be viewing the purchase as a way to help support/fund the development of the plugin, not as "wasteful" just because they could have gotten it for free.
@pshaaleska@RubberJohnnny@Dexerto@FBI Did you read the affidavit the article links? He allegedly said he was going to murder someone, and a police officer, and force police into a situation where they'd have to kill him. That's not a "joke", that's a genuine threat to those around him that needs to be acted on.
@IIIonster@Dexerto If you read the affidavit linked in the article, he allegedly said he was going to murder someone and a police officer, not a blank threat towards an internet stranger. They rightfully recognised he was a potential threat to those around him and acted.
@rhiow@ILikeBatsTho Is that necessarily a bad thing though? Maybe it'll teach people to start actually drawing a line on acceptable AI use and not simply continue blanket hating on all uses without valid reason.
@rebounderrr@guilaranjamehh@ZombiezRComing I'm curious why nobody is even questioning how he magically obtained game source code WITH comments supposedly included. It's pretty well-known that Roblox does not send raw source code to clients and only sends compiled code that excludes a bunch of useful info like those.
@AminTCx@Pirat_Nation They implemented a measure that makes it even harder for a cheater to ruin the game in the moment and you're complaining that they didn't implement a slow and inefficient method that can only clean up after the gameplay has already been ruined?
@ElsonsoJannus@Pirat_Nation What grounds do you think someone could possibly actually have for suing Riot over this? Valorant is literally F2P, you as a player did not lose out on any money unless you paid for MTX, and even then, their terms probably cover this scenario.
@TheNewRobloxDoe@KreekCraft Replying under this tweet since you think blocking me means you've won. Him having a prior history of exploiting does not automatically make him guilty on unrelated counts, and you have failed to produce any evidence that would actually prove he exploited in THIS event.
@TheNewRobloxDoe@KreekCraft I don't know if you know this but in the real world, you cannot just accuse someone of something serious without any evidence and expect there to be zero consequences or actual action taken against them unfairly.
@beascripts@RoUtilityNews What kind of telemetry could possibly be requiring more than the new limits offer though? I cannot see how that could be possible when the new limits feel like they'd be more than enough.
@beascripts@RoUtilityNews What are you producing that requires such absurdly high rate limits? This isn't "very bad" at all unless your systems are just poorly designed and constantly abusing the API.
@WGB05112004@__VectorRBLX__@KreekCraft I consistently see actually decent results from a lot of generative AI tools now, LLMs like GPT Astra are especially demonstrating their capabilities, and I've observed GPT and Claude even on free tiers outputting some pretty decent quality code that is actually use-able.
@WGB05112004@__VectorRBLX__@KreekCraft The past 3 years AI hadn't yet reached the point where the results were actually viable to use in production for a lot of people. We're only just starting to reach the point where that is shifting quickly now, so I'd bet it won't be too long from now.
@__VectorRBLX__@KreekCraft Don't let all the lazy "creatives" who are generating slop with it detract from the actual value and potential it can offer to people with actual creative vision and drive to achieve things.
@__VectorRBLX__@KreekCraft How exactly does generative AI "stop the creativity of the general public"? If anything, it objectively enhances that creativity. Now, people who either cannot afford to pay someone or are unable to learn the skills can fully express their creative visions through it.
@perkyache@BloodyWing4@MrChickenRocket The issues you are pointing out are due to user error though, caused entirely by the user's failure to properly utilise AI as what it is: a tool that they need to guide and carefully review the results of.
