Big Data + AI consultant for the global theme park industry. I enjoy my family, my work, skiing, and skydiving. You can find me camping right here in my values.
@jakeupjohnson @DanRShafer@PatelESPN I agree in this case, but the for-profit model works all over the world. Closer to home, it's working in Florida, where Brightline's trains are running full many times.
@KAErdmann This is starting to happen in the really nice high-rises in South Florida (not to this degree yet, but it's trending up). The HOA situation is out of control all over Florida, but especially there.
@Attractions 2 days of unbearable crowds and 3-hour waits < 1 day of a full, but not overwhelmed theme park.
I can't be the only one who sees it this way?
@disneyglimpses I’ve seen the first year attendance projections. They are not overestimating anything. Bravo to them for realizing a mobbed park is no fun for anyone.
@RhettoricBTW @niccruzpatane@Tesla@wholemars@tesla_na Imagine standing in a typical Florida downpour wondering why your phone isn't unlocking your car while you get soaked to the core... I did that like 4 times and said "enough!."
For this and several other reasons, I'm a fob fanboi. LOL
@niccruzpatane@Tesla@wholemars@tesla_na My PHEV has both fob and phone options. I only use the phone when I forget the fob. I used to use the phone only, but after like the 8th time of valet/etc. rejecting my car, I realized the fob is staying with me.
@matredman@consciousphilos@JP23177686 LOL. Catturd and you, sitting in a tree.
Becoming increasingly irrelevant. As the world moves on and you move backwards.
Such is the plight of the mediocre white man.
@consciousphilos@JP23177686 Did you know that the world doesn't revolve around you? Did you know that many people were just introduced to you? Did you know that most of those people now are convinced you're an abject moron?
Bravo, my Serbian douche... BRAVO.
