@sharondaniel91 Just ask the machine (pump) or the clerk inside for your receipt at the end of every transaction. Who pumps their gasoline or lets the employee (in NJ) do it and then just drives off without verifying the amount of the transaction and closing out? At a gas station or even an ATM?

Americans want a cafeteria plan so they can opt out of paying for universal health or education.

It’s a different social compact.

My country (USA) experienced secession in 1861. It became a devastating civil war. Secession failed.

The commitment was a promise to Ukraine to see that the border was respected by all the parties, and to act in aid if they were not.

@scallen2112 @RepMikeLawler In the famous Budapest Memorandum of 1994, the USA, UK and Russia promised to respect and help secure the existing borders of Ukraine in return for Ukraine joining the NPT and giving up its nuclear arsenal.

The USA has a history of alliances with and support for Ukraine.
