@imperialcollege @seis_matters Thank you so much Ahmed and @BasinsIC! It is a pleasure to work with you all and I am really happy we are all staying in contact and still managing to have some fun in these trying times.
Congrats Steve! Another wonderful paper- and what a title 😀. If you are stuck at home and want to dream of digging around in Greek river beds in the sunshine this is the paper for you!
How does interdisciplinary research translate in the school classroom? Think cross-curricular learning, but rather than get bogged down by all of these big words, you're best off reading issue 4 of Futurum Careers, hot off the press! https://t.co/rZR1iDYuUQ #edutwitter#scicomm

Did you know that there is such as thing as 'silent' earthquakes?
We can't feel them, seismometers can't detect them and they can occur over weeks , even months. BUT Are they silent but deadly? @RebEBell@ImperialRSM is finding out. https://t.co/W2aDRJZOrq
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO PURSUE A CAREER IN GEOSCIENCE?
WHICH SUBJECTS DID YOU TAKE AT COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY?
WHY ARE YOU BASED IN THE UK AS OPPOSED TO WELL-KNOWN EARTHQUAKE HOTSPOTS?

"Unlocking the secrets of slow slip using next-generation seismic experiments and IODP drilling at the north Hikurangi subduction zone, New Zealand". Next September 25, lecture of the distinguished lecturer program of the #ECORD#IODP with Rebecca Bell (@RebEBell). #ECORDDLP
Looking forward to the next chapter of my ECORD Distinguished lecture tour- https://t.co/wWKuTFNxcB . See you in Lisbon soon! @ECORD_IODP#ECORDDLP@JoaoCDuarte
Check out the new Imperial news article on @Mel0Gray's stunning PhD work. Good luck Mel for PhD hand-in soon! ‘Treasure trove’ of quake clues could be unearthed by wavy new technique https://t.co/9yegz0efYi
@Effat_Behboudi @NZ3D_FWI@ImperialRSM Our first step is to try and transform the detailed P-wave velocity model we have in 2D-https://t.co/jlKHke14PS to S-wave using the relationship between P and S waves from the drilling data. @Mel0Gray is working on this for her PhD thesis.
@Effat_Behboudi @NZ3D_FWI@ImperialRSM Hi Effat, good to hear from you and that sounds like a great project. I was on the coring part of the IODP expedition, 375, but know the data well. We will be starting with the generation of a P-wave velocity model but in the future hope to work up to S-wave.
Super excited to have been named the Bullerwell Lecturer 2020! Thank you so much @britgeophysics and to those that nominated me. Can't wait to give the Bullerwell Lecture at @EuroGeosciences 2020!
Excellent to see @Mel0Gray first paper out this week in JGR Solid Earth @theAGU! Have you ever wondered what an accretionary wedge's guts look like? check it out! https://t.co/5v91nNk0My
