@SuperWinterGirl The only things I want to stop about the woke is replacing summer with "pride" month and forcing everything to be woke. I still wouldn't heavily censor people but the woke do tend to get carried away with censoring people but yes Elon Musk also isn't a free speech warrior.
@CyberTechWolff Elon Musk is a third generation Nazi sympathizer from apartheid South Africa. You can't inoculate against the "woke mind virus" unless you have HEAVY levels of censorship.
He's only a "champion of free speech" that he agrees with.
@CyberTechWolff This has happened to me before, actually. I was suspended for 7 days, literally a week because of some shit that I said to them to, well, you get the point. I have already been more evasive about this matter, and not a single moderation taken against me.

@r_a_d_a_n_n_e@cakewallet As you said, ZCash only partially implemented it just to get a few compliance checks there and there. It's comparable to FCMP++ yes, it's better than ring signatures, but, because of how they want to be all compliant, and how they got controversial (for good reason), is not okay.

There are plenty of privacy coins. You can fork one right now, rebrand it, compile it, and have a new chain in a few hours. Why not?
Who's going to run the nodes? Who's going to implement the coin (wallets, merchants)? Who's going to pay for exchange listings and hype a community?
zk-SNARKs is solid tech, better than Ring signatures, comparable to FCMP. If you fancy an alternative, ARRR is a solid choice.
Nobody understands the black box of tradfi which is able to obfuscate everything to oblivion. Bitcoin is now subject to that. Anyone who thinks they know has no idea. Not a single fucking clue. It's solely confirmation bias. Maybe some guys writing the algos at hft firms know, but even then, probably not.
@signalvoyager@ProtonPrivacy - when you don't have a Proton drive app not supported on the Linux platform? We have seen how Proton develops their software by hardcoding their dependencies via systemd. Here's a question for you: What happens when systemd dies? What are you gonna do to fix that mistake?
@signalvoyager@ProtonPrivacy The phrase "across all platforms" suggests that they also support Linux, but, they have partial support for Linux that is hardcoded to only support systemd, and nothing else. Now I agree, but Linux is a kernel with OS's supporting it, so its technically usable, why claim privacy-
